30 sept High level of activity for in situ PV modules testing Non classé 0 Comments By gensun-admin Since the introduction of its in situ PV modules testing service back in November last year, GenSun has provided this service in support of various projects, either during or after construction. The first major project has been that of Cestas just South of Bordeaux (300MWp installed power making it the largest PV Farm in Europe) for which GenSun has provided in situ testing (I/V + EL + IR) on some 5’000 modules (representing 0.5% of the total number of modules delivered) before installation onto the racking structures, throughout the construction period (January through June 2015), as sub-contractor to the Certifying Agency Certisolis. The test of 402 modules in Bruges (33520) after their container fell off a crane followed, then the test of 45 modules for the Solar Farm of Grabels (34970) built by GenSun (2.8MWp PV on single axis trackers + 1.5MWp CPV), then the test of 573 modules in Romenay (71470), the test of 600 modules in Gueugnon (71130) being in progress. Two other jobs will follow: test of 380 modules in Parnans (26750) on account of Solis, and test of modules before/after cleaning with a robot on account of Exosun in Martillac (33650). This service – unique in France – will be available to other EPCs, plant owners or asset managers from November next. gensun-admin Comments are closed. Leave A Reply!
