21 jan A new EPC contract with single and dual axis trackers Non classé 0 Comments By gensun-admin Through intensely competitive bidding, the independent green power producer Neoen has awarded GenSun the engineering, construction, commissioning and monitoring / maintenance of the Grabels PV Farm located just North of Montpellier. This project – having an installed power of 4.3MWp – was won by Neoen within the framework of the first governmental call for tender issued by the French Energy Regulation Authority (« CRE1″). This PV Farm features two innovative technologies developed by French companies: solar concentration or CPV (modules and dual axis trackers by Soitec) for an installed power of 1.5MWp, and crystalline PV (72 cells, 315Wp modules by Sillia) on single axis horizontal trackers (Exotrack® HZ by Exosun) for an installed power of 2.8MWp. The plant architecture is of the centralized type, making use of 760kVA et 630kVA SMA inverters. The site preparation work (grading / fencing / internal tracks) is due to start early March and the plant is to be connected to the grid by the end of July. gensun-admin Comments are closed.
